Task #2: Introduction
Great! Now that you and your group have completed your first project the Architects Firm has given you another task to complete. They are testing you to see if you can handle the job, so remember to follow each step and complete all tasks in order and on time.
Follow the checklist below to compete all task for your 2nd Architecture Portfolio Page.
Checklist:
1. Time to switch it up. Change jobs with your group members (no one can have the same title as they did for Task #1)
3. Create a sub page under your Architecture Portfolio Page located with in your Weebly Portfolio title it Architectural Structures & Styles
4. Using Blackboard have each group member post the following information under Digital Drop Box:

- You will use your previous Google Doc again so do not delete it
Task #2: Directions & Expectations
Read ALL of the directions and job tasks that need to be completed for this Task. You have (4) course period to complete your 2nd Portfolio Page.
All Complete Pages Must Be Published and Checked in Before Moving on to Task #3.
It is the Managers responsibility to set up a time to meet with me that works for each group member and myself by the end of the 1st class period.
This should be the first deadlines you should set up so that everyone knows what is expected of them.
For this Portfolio Page there are multiple sections to complete . Read all information and set up a timeline to have all areas completed within your given time frame.

Day #5 & #6
Your first task under your Architectural Structures & Styles page is to create a slideshow of well known architectural structures. Each group member is responsible for selecting and creating (2) slides for (2) well know architectural structures (no repeats). As a group, research different structures and select (6) total structures to use (2 each).

- Find information on each of the structures selected by your group. (location, description, structure info. height, material made of etc., any information you feel is most important to knowing the building).
- Post information to your group Google Slides (remember correct citing is a MUST. No Cite, No Grade)
- Collect images for each of the structures chosen by your group members
- Post each picture within your Google Slides (remember correct citing is a MUST. No Cite, No Grade)
- Set up & Organize the Google Slide for your group members and Task#2- Part A
- Be sure that each member knows where to post their information and where to find the information to complete their Google Slide page properly
- Help with any missing information and citation help (remember correct citing is a MUST. No Cite, No Grade)
- Convert the completed Google Slide in to a Embed Code and ADD it to EACH members Architectural Structures & Styles page. Insert a title above the slideshow "Famous Structures"

Task #2: Part B-Skyscrapers
Day #7 & #8
Your second task under your Architectural Structures & Styles page is to create a magazine layout of well known skyscrapers. Each group member is responsible for selecting (2) well know skyscrapers (no repeats). As a group, research different skyscrapers and select (6) total skyscrapers to use (2 each). You may choose from the following programs to complete this task: Word, Publisher, Photoshop, or Google Docs. Remember the design layouts, Principles & Elements of Design and use of space we discussed in class.

- Review and make any changes necessary for proper layout etiquette
- Transfer all documents on to your Architectural Structures & Styles page. Use the Document Element to add each document to your page. If each member used the same program, combine and only add (1) document for better appearance. Insert a title above the slideshow "Skyscrapers"
Additional Course Requirement
- Add a picture of your skyscraper sketch and write up from class
- Add final skyscraper build image from your Skyscraper Challenge Project (feel free to add multiple images if you have them)
- Add your final write up and skyscraper outcomes under you images listed above
