Introduction
Your 6 week probationary period has several tasks you must successfully complete in order to retain your new job. You will be assigned to a probation team, where each of you will have a specific role (listed below). The 3 of you will work together to complete the tasks and compile them in the end creating an architecture portfolio to showcase your new skills.
Jobs:
Architect –The Architect is the “nuts and bolts” person. This is the person with a lot of mathematical skill and knowledge who likes details. The Architect will be involved in the beginning of each task, getting the essential elements done, but will step back and let the others finish the product while he/she moves on to the next task. Designer—The designer is responsible for helping with each task and then deciding what the final look of each task will be. This person is creative and independent and wants to “show off” talent in a given area. Manager—The manager is responsible for coordinating the group, for maintaining the work, keeping the group on task. The manager is in charge of organizing the results and planning the portfolio. The manager is also responsible for the finishing touches. For example, the others are doing the work, but the manager takes the work each has done and puts together the final product while the others move on to the next task. |
